How to get to Camping Le Château?

The campsite is located in the heart of the Drôme des Collines, in a peaceful and family-friendly setting, just a stone’s throw from the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval. It is easily accessible by car, train, bicycle, or even plane.

By car:

Approximate travel times from major cities:

• From Valence: 50 min via D538
• From Lyon: 1h10 via A7, exit Chanas
• From Grenoble: 1h15 via A49 or D519
• From Vienne: 45 min via D538
• From Clermont-Ferrand: 2h30 via A89 and A72
• From Avignon: 2h via A7
• From Geneva: 2h30 via A49

Free parking is available at the entrance of the campsite. For children’s safety, vehicle access inside the site is limited to pedestrians only.

By train:

• Saint-Vallier / Saint-Victor station – 20 min by car
• Romans-sur-Isère station (TGV / TER) – 30 min
• Valence TGV station – 50 min

Taxi services are available from the stations. We’ll be happy to provide recommendations if needed.

By plane:

• Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport – 1h10
• Grenoble Alpes-Isère Airport – 1h15
• Valence-Chabeuil Airport – 1h

By bike:

The Drôme des Collines region is crossed by numerous cycling routes. Access to the campsite by bike is easy, and you can safely park your bicycle on-site.
